Production Designer and Artist

PRODUCTION DESIGN
My experience with filmmaking has centered predominantly on production design, whether it be dressing the sets, making or sourcing the props. I have experience as a head of department as well as an assistant on various projects.
SHORT, 2025
A narrative focusing on two fisherman brothers who approach a conflict in their family home on the Scottish coast.
This project is probably my most ambitious and well executed as production designer. The generous budget tested my abilities to find rare and unusual props, have space to design a world around a fictional fish and lead a department of artists and designers.
DIRECTED BY LUCCA WALTER AND ARIEL HOMOSSANNY
GENRES: DRAMA

SHORT, 2025
A narrative exploring the different ways that people deal with grief.
This project was fun as it explored the genre of magical realism which allowed me to try different styles of set design. It was also an exciting challenge as most of the story is set outside.

GENRES: DRAMA, MAGICAL REALISM

SHORT, 2024
A 7 minute comedy about a man trying to cancel his massage.
The surreal situations and quirky characters was the perfect base for experimentation and exaggeration in the set. I enjoyed using colour and focus points to enhance the hyperbolic nature of this film.
GENRES: COMEDY, ABSURDIST
DIRECTED BY LUCCA WALTER

SHORT, 2024
A story about a ballet dancer who gets kidnapped, blackmailed and taken hostage by someone from her teacher's past.
A brilliant opportunity to explore a genre which I would not usually work with, filling the background for fast paced fight sequences and designing the costume for the final scene.
DIRECTED BY KUSHAL DHINGRA
GENRES: ACTION, CRIME

SHORT, 2023
A depiction of the psychological consequences of guilt.
This was a project where I assisted the head of department in a lot of the creative aspects of the story. This included the design and creation of the hand, as well as choosing the props and the layout of the set. we utilised a monochrome colour palette, highlighting red as a symbolic and foreshadowing motif.

GENRES: DRAMA, ABSURDIST, HORROR

SHORT, 2023
A 1 minute uni excersise practicing the effects of using space to our advantage. The story features a snippet of a character's life post apocalypse.
The idea for this project was to convey effectively the relationship between production design and cinematography, using a single room location.
DIRECTED BY KUSHAL DHINGRA
GENRES: HORROR

STORYBOARDS
I discovered that I enjoyed drawing storyboards during my last year of school, collaborating my artistic abilities with the filmmaking process. I have continued to create them as much as I can, helping fellow filmmakers to visualise their story as part of the pre production process.

As part of my course, I had to create a blog where I go into detail about the process behind each and every one of the films I worked on. We also had to critically analyse our work as an exercise to help us improve and develop our skills. Check it out below.
